Emanuel PleitezEmanuel Pleitez is a Co-Founder of East Los Capital, which is a lower middle-market private equity company that aims to bump up the world’s productivity through the use of technology. They are operationally focused, technology-enabled, and research-driven and invest in companies where their capital has the most value.

Emanuel has over 15 years of experience in the corporate field in various industries such as private equity, software, consumer internet, tech-enabled services, investment banking, management consulting, and the public sector.

Before co-founding East Los Capital, he was an investor at Sunstone Partners, where he put his efforts on lower middle-market businesses in the cloud and enterprise IT and other tech-related niches. Prior to his occupation at Sunstone, he served as a Commissioner for the Los Angeles Fire and Police Pensions and Head of Business Development for various edtech startups.

Emanuel has lots of experience in the private sector area because of his numerous previous occupations, such as being a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company and a Financial Analyst at Goldman Sachs in the public sector, and various other roles in the corporate world.
